Well having an entire week off the Chemotherapy has been great. I felt good for the entire weekend and think that drinking copious amounts of water helped immensely, flushing all the radiation drug out of my system. (and thus, I'm not looking forward to my next Cytotoxic top-up)
An unfortunate bit of news which was the pinnacle of my week, my eldest daughter Madison (second from left in the picture) broke her arm whilst she was riding her bike. Tayla had drifted in front of her as they were riding down a slight hill and worried that Madison wasn't next to her, she slowed down not realising Madison was directly behind her wheel and as a result, Madison went down breaking her left arm at a right angle. That's TWO right angled arm breaks that I've had to endure in our family...which is TWO more than any family member should have to bear.
My facebook status, for those that are not on FB reads as;
MY MY, IT HAS BEEN A COLOSSAL WEEK!! Chemotherapy, Radiotherapy, then to top it all off..Madison's broken arm. God has a plan for everyone I understand but damn, mine's just....incredibly, astonishingly confounding and complex!!
